A simple sweater knitting project – overview

I’ve just started a new project, and this time I’m going to blog about it.

My project is a knitting project. I have chosen Cozy Nooks Designs’ “Beginner Stripes Sweater”. I bought the kit from Lion Brand Yarn. The color palette works perfectly in my Spring capsule wardrobe.

Photo from LionBrand.com website of what my sweater will mostly look like upon completion.

Here is the link to the kit if you’re interested. I am not sponsored, nor do I have an affiliate link. This link is just being provided for the curious and for those who wish to join me somewhat after the fact.

A couple of notes about this sweater.

  1. It’s a top-down knit with raglan sleeves. It’s using super bulky weight (size 6) yarn and size 13/9mm circular knitting needles for the main portion of the sweater. This is my first time using both.
  2. I will not be posting the pattern here. I highly suggest checking out Cozy Nooks Designs’ website for her free pattern for this sweater and lots of other cute designs. Her sweater patterns go up to a 5X, which makes me very happy, as I am not a small lady.
